Further notes on the PL app version 2.1.4 RC2 [20260211]

This update is again a purely functional update of the application for correction and bug fixing.
All Macmon products have now been converted to a 9-digit item number and the prices have been revised,
which has led to a reduction in prices across the board.
You can find all these changes in the logbook dated January 14, 2026.
Several fixed variants with their own item numbers have been added for the GRS2000.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.1.1 RC2 [20250606]

For some fixed SPIDER variants having the new approval level WV instead of Y9, the prices had to be adjusted.
Here are the affected product numbers:

Also for a number of Netmodule products, the US$ prices were either corrected or made available for the first time.

It corrects some display errors and blocks the configuration of the Octopus III with PoE until further notice.
The “Check products” function has also been revised and corrected in response to customer feedback.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.0.2 RC2 [20240801]

The prices of the MIPP product have been fixed because they were not correctly updated in the previous release regarding the price increase of the 1st of July 2024.
The price increase for the 1st of July 2024 was not reflected in the previous release because the compilation of this release was created two days before the price change has been created by the product manager.
This happened due to an error in the communication between the product manager and me.

This update is again a purely functional update of the application for correction and bug fixing.
It also includes a new feature, namely the possibility to retrieve already discontinued products
in a so-called product repository. This was implemented in response to several customer requests.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.0.0 RC1 [20231213]

Dieses Update ist ein rein funktionelles Update der Applikation.

Aufgrund der langen Vorlaufzeit von der Bereitstellung der Anwendung bis zum tatsächlichen Inkrafttreten der neuen Preise
Es gab immer wieder Fragen, wie hoch der alte Preis eines Produktes in diesem Zeitraum war,
was im aktuellen Fall fast drei Monate sind, insbesondere für EMEA-Kunden.

Bei fest nummerierten Produkten könnte das Logbuch der Preisänderungen hierüber Auskunft geben.
Leider haben nur wenige Benutzer die Logbuchfunktion gefunden und genutzt…
Für frei konfigurierbare Produkte gab es jedoch kein solches Logbuch.

Mit dieser neuen Version der PL-App wurde dies nun grundlegend überarbeitet.

Neben dem Fahrtenbuch gibt es nun in allen Preisanzeigen einen kleinen Button,
unabhängig davon, ob es sich um ein fest nummeriertes Hardware- oder Serviceprodukt oder um ein frei konfigurierbares Produkt handelt,
entweder mit einem roten Pfeil, der für eine Preiserhöhung nach oben zeigt,
oder ein grüner Pfeil, der nach unten zeigt, um eine Preissenkung zu erhalten, auf die Sie klicken können.

Mit einem Klick auf die Schaltfläche öffnet sich ein Pop-up-Fenster, in dem der neue und der alte Preis nebeneinander angezeigt werden.
Außerdem werden das Datum, ab dem der neue Preis gültig ist, und das Datum, bis zu dem der alte Preis gültig ist, angezeigt.

Aber das ist noch nicht alles - die Anzeige der Preisliste von fest nummerierten Produkten als vollständige Liste
wurde ebenfalls erweitert, so dass der aktuelle neue und der vorherige alte Preis angezeigt werden.
Die Spalte mit dem alten Preis wird ganz rechts als letzte Spalte in der Liste angezeigt.

Die neuen und alten Preise werden nun auch im Fenster „Produkte prüfen“ angezeigt,
unabhängig davon, ob es sich um fest nummerierte Produkte oder frei konfigurierbare Produkte handelt.
Das bedeutet, dass Sie nun alle Produkte, die Sie zuvor gekauft haben, in dieses Fenster importieren können und der neue und alte Preis angezeigt wird, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um fest nummerierte oder frei konfigurierbare Produkte handelt.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass Ihnen diese neuen Funktionen gefallen und dass das seit langem bestehende Problem des alten und neuen Preises endlich gelöst ist.
